Great service. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very enjoyable for even a newbie. Great golf coach. Very helpful and interactive owners. Love these guys.

Really great fun. We went as a company night out and had a fantastic time- would definitely go again.

Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf

Cabot Circus Shopping Centre 76 Glass Walk, Bristol BS1 3BQ, UK – 0117 929 7771

Fantastic mini golf place. Has two courses. They do a deal where you get drinks and a game at a reasonable price so well recommended. The holes can be a challenge so it's good fun. The staff are super friendly as had a large group 1 team doing the 1st course and 1 team doing the 2nd course and they let us do a quick 1v1 final whole to get an overall winner. Will defo go back

Was good fun, and good value. Could have been busier for a better atmosphere but ultimately was quite late on a Saturday

Nearest Gyms

The Gym Bristol

LS4A & LS4B, Quakers Friars, Bristol BS1 3BU, UK – 0844 384 3174

Great gym. Everything what you need. Cheap and very good location. Just used to be too crowded. Doesn’t have that gym atmosphere. Too small for for so many people. There are other gyms way better. Its good for price, but would only go to this gym if I lived it the same street.

Popped in with a mate as part of her perk. Pros: Good range of cardio gear Open 24 hours Lots of lockers Cons. Water dispensers are a pain in the ass, and warm! Cross trainers feel awkward to use, and I've used a few Free weight section is a joke with space Gets way too busy during peak hours. Resistance machines are a bit finicky but this is likely down to personal preference Staff seem interested Overall is OK in and out but wouldn't join myself...

Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Gym

83 Queens Rd, Bristol BS8 1QS, UK – 0117 925 2538

The spin bikes are old when compared to other Nuffields around the same price bracket, could do with some investment in that area of the gym. However, the other equipment is pretty new and the instructors are great if group exercise is your thing.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Gym itself is clean and has a great range of equipment.

PureGym Bristol Union Gate

10, Union Gate, Union St, Bristol BS1 2DU, UK – 0345 013 3425

Amazing gym, there is plenty of space and equipment that you can use. Usually there is never need to wait for any weights or machines which is great, only if you come around 18:00 it is quite busy but literally any other time it feels almost empty. Great location in city center and the best benefit is the cost, if you are a student you get even lower price. For all the equipment and that it's open 24/7 the price is ridiculously cheap.

I love it. When I usually go, never busy. I have only one problem. The gate looks like the machine where Fry trapped for 1000 years. A little claustrophobic :) Very good equipments nice and clean changing rooms and showers.

Leisure Centres Reviews and Pools

Easton Leisure Centre

Thrissell St, Bristol BS5 0SW, UK – 0117 955 8840

My trip to the swimming baths ended rather unspectacularly today when I went to go on the flume, only to be told it was closed. Naturally I persuaded the life guard into letting me have a go as I'd never been on it before, they said yes go on then. But when I got to the top the water had stopped. All the lifeguards shouted up at me to say you have to come back down the stairs. Well obviously that wasn't an option, noone walks back down the flume stairs. Now I have a pretty red raw back and shoulders as a result of my dry flume ride. Not impressed.

The staff at reception were polite, lifeguards did their job well watching the pool. The cleanliness needs working and the pool Temp was abit cold.

Everyone Active @ Kingsdown Sport Centre

Portland St, Bristol BS2 8HL, UK – 0117 903 1633

This is a very fun and friendly place to exercise. For myself I am a gym regular. The quality of gym instructors is second to none. They don't come any better than Martin Balcombe. Liliana and Ahmed. It's priceless the teaching and I feel extremely lucky that this place is in Bristol. P..s they don't just teach exercise. The rest of the team at Kingsdown including reception are lovely people too. Well recommended.

5 stars for Rob, who is always wonderfully professional and friendly and always knows what he's doing!!

Sports Clubs

The Redland Green Club

Redland Green Rd, Bristol BS6 7HF, UK – 0117 973 1139

Friendly atmosphere. Good tennis courts

This is a great tennis club but sadly I don't use it for that purpose. I use the gym as its on my way to dropping the kids off at school so convenient. Its a basic gym, but they've put in all the equipment you need for a good work out. Its not high tech but it all works. I have sent my kids there for tennis courses during the holidays which were brilliantly run and would recommend highly. My kids hate any sport so I was surprised that they only complained 1 out of 5 days that they didn't want to go - which for me was a huge success!

Bristol Rowing Club
